The hills follow on one after another and the vineyards create colourful geometrical patterns. Scattered profiles of medieval castels look like immovable sentinels. They are the manors of Barolo, Castiglione Falletto, Grinzane Cavour, Novello, Roddi, Serralunga d’Alba, Sinio and Verduno. This unique landscape has always been moulded by the seasons and the work of men.
