Massimo Camia was born in Dogliani in 1960, he lives in Monforte d’Alba until the age of 14 years and he has always had a passion for cooking and catering.

Deeply attached to its territory and to its origins, in 1990 Massimo opens “La Locanda nel Borgo Antico”, a small restaurant in the center of Barolo town, just a few steps from the Castle. A journey full of work and satisfaction honors in 2001, Massimo and Luciana with the long-awaited and desired Michelin Star. A coveted award that comes along with many high ratings of restaurant guides.

In September 2013 Massimo Camia, “star” of the territory, opens a new restaurant in the premises of Damilano cellars, in synergy with the Damilano family.
