Following a multi-year acquisition agreement for public use entered between the Municipality of Castiglione Falletto and the Vassallo family, owners of the manor, on Saturday, April 11, 2015 the imposing medieval fortress that overlooks the town at the centre of the Barolo producing region, reopens its doors to the public. To celebrate this milestone, the City Council invites the whole population and those who are interested in taking part to the reopening ceremony.

Opening of the entrance to the Castle and reception of all the citizens who will take part in the event
Opportunity to take a stroll in the inner courtyard and in the garden.
Presentation of all projects for the restoration and recovery interventions
Presentation of the Activities Calendar for 2015

                                       Perspectives for a public management and possible future use of the property
Gianni Boffa             The Castle of Castiglione Falletto, history and visit route
Dario Destefanis     Presentation of the contracts entered with the Vassallo Family of Castiglione
Armando Volpe       The intervention projects of conservative restoration and functional recovery
